Length, time and money
Centimetres are suitable for measuring short objects. A larger number of centimetres means a greater length when both measurements use the same unit.
Hours and euros
A whole hour is written with two zeros after the colon, such as 8:00. One hour later, the hour number increases by one. Prices are stated in euros, and the total price of several purchases is found by addition. Change equals the money paid minus the item price.
