Operations with decimals
For decimal addition and subtraction, align decimal points. For multiplication, calculate without decimal points first and then place the point using the total number of decimal places in both factors.
Division
To divide by a decimal, make the divisor a whole number by moving the decimal point by the same number of places in both numbers. Check the result with an estimate.
